PEBBLE RIVER IN THE JADETH
MOUNTAINS (Ravensland)
The Pebble River eats its way through the volcanic strata of the Jadeth
Mountains and then flows through Ravensland. Rich in minerals, it
attracts many dwarven prospectors eager for its nuggets of rare metals
or gems, and wizards seeking strange properties of the surrounding
rocks and minerals. However, in the Jadeth Mountains, it travels through
hobgoblin territory, who defend it fiercely and with ferocious cunning.

LOCH ANWYLL

LOCH ANWYLL (Ravensland)
The Loch is a 30 mile long lake that splits open the Jadeth Mountains.
Due to the region's vulcanism, many fumaroles and geysers dot it's
shores, and even boil up underneath it. The peaks of the moutnains
on each side are around 4,000 ft high, and at this Northern latitude,
usually snowcapped. However the volcanic heat cases much melting
as the ground temperature is higher than normal, giving rise to
many eroded little streams and gulleys flowing down the mountain
sides. This scene is near the Eastern end, looking North, Gealach--the
white moon, can be seen. Out of shot to the East is the very active
geothermal region called "The Thousand Smokes".

THE KOBOLD CANYONS (Ravensland)
are a strange, eerie place...on entering this region, it seems the
entire world has changed! The Sun is a massive fiery red orb, the
heat soars, sand and dust encrust the myriad of winding canyons
and gulleys...inhabited by the kobolds, small and full of wicked
guile, the small lizardmen make the place even more dangerous than
the threats the strange land throws in the face of travellers!
